
Drawing the Human Figure with Live Models
Duration: 12 weeks — 2 hours per session
Start Date: Begins once a minimum of 6 participants are registered
Prerequisite: Basic drawing experience required
Class Description:
In this course, students will explore and practice the elements and principles of design while drawing from a live model. Working with charcoal, graphite, conté pencils, and ink on a variety of surfaces, participants will learn to break down the complexity of the human form into manageable steps. By applying core design concepts, students will be able to both accurately visualize the figure and create compositions that are artistically compelling.
Cost: $500 + model fees (shared equally among participants)
